What is the event?
RTI Summit 2025, hosted under the Danish EU Presidency, brings together leaders from across Europe to shape the future of Research and Technology Infrastructures and introduce the new European strategy in this field. The summit will provide key input for the implementation of the strategy and demonstrate how the infrastructures drive innovation, science, and industry forward.

08.30 departure from Scandic Copenhagen to Research Infrastructure facility European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund, Sweden
75 conference participants are welcome to attend a visit to the European Spallation Source. After welcoming visitors and sharing the safety rules, visitors will be split into 5 walking groups in order to discover the medium and short instrument halls of ESS in order to learn about progress and the current phase of the project and the instrument installations. After walking through the instrument halls, visitors will get back on their buses to see more of the ESS site by bus with an ESS scientific colleague explaining what they see.
This is a great way to capture the size and scope of this large European project based on the collaboration of 13 European countries!
